Publisher Sample
I love the new Publisher design and am new to Drupal. I'm going to purchase the theme.
Question..
1) How can I easily swap out the logo?
2) Also, I noticed that you have a forum,blog,registration, and login built into your online sample. Are those all seperate modules that you added in?
3) is the theme seo optimized? I'm assuming so since its built for Drupal!
I may be able to answer some of these - hope Brian doesn't mind :)
1. Once you install Publisher, go to
admin/build/themes/settings/publisherto change the logo/favicon.2. Those modules are all included by default with Drupal.
3. Drupal itself is very SEO friendly (this podcast talks about additional modules to make it even moreso...) From a theme perspective, I would say yes to your question since Publisher uses CSS/XHTML.
I second Chrys' comments above. The Publisher theme is pretty lightweight as far as code, is search engine friendly, and you could plug in the page_title module, nodewords, related links, and about 10 others to build out even more SEO for it.
The forum, blog, and registration are all core and you can add onto the registration with LOTs of other modules, like Simplenews for newsletters, member registration, and more user modules than I could list here :-p
