Golden Thread Tarot

Over the past years, I’ve become fascinated with tarot. It’s value really is in its ability to reflect one’s subconscious, not to “tell the future”, as proclaimed by various shady characters. There is an overarching story that is told in the cards, which is humankind’s journey from the open possibilities and innocence of the fool to the completion and unity with the universe, as told by the world. To familiarise myself with the patterns and symbolism in the tarot, I decided that the easiest way to learn was to create. Thus, I drew a card a day from the deck, and illustrated my own interpretation. This is the result.
