There has been a real boom in the number of websites that are now offering free stock photos. This is a massive asset to web designers and startups who can now build a nice library of high-quality images for no outlay.
Unsplash originally started as a small side project from the guys at Crew, a creative company based in Canada. At first there were only images from a couple ofphotographers, but now there are a large number of eager contributors.
There is a great range of shots available on this site, from nature, to urban and architecture. All images are provided at high-resolution, and free for you to use on your commercial and personal creative projects.
